Job Summary:
To plan, prepare and serve quality vegetarian meals and refreshments for customer and to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• To plan, prepare and cook quality vegetarian meals and refreshments for customers
• To plan weekly menu and develop new recipes
• To ensure that stock is managed effectively
• To order goods on a daily basis according to the requirements of the menu
• To supervise kitchen assistant on a day to day basis
• To ensure the correct and economical use of materials and appropriate portion control is implemented at all times
• To ensure that basis hygiene regulations are correct and implemented at all times
• To ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen area
• To support the preparation of out-going deliveries
• Any other duties as deemed appropriate by café Manager
Salary negotiable.
30 hours per week
