Guernsey startups look to attract customers outside the island

She said: “When you can reach your customers very easily through technology, you don’t need to be limited simply by what is available on the island.”

Adrian Norman, is the CEO and co-founder of UniteVerse, an app that will help connect people with their ideal nights out or experiences when it launches in March.

He said he believed Guernsey was a great launching pad.

“The infrastructure is all here, you can see everyone on the same day, whether it’s a lawyer, a marketing person or a developer,” he said.

Norman said he looked forward to a future where the island was put “on the radar” through local startups going global.
